| Ingredients | 
| 1 cup butter | 
| 1/4 cup corn starch | 
| 1/2 cup icing sugar | 
| 1/2 tsp. salt | 
| 2 cups sifted all purpose flour | 
| Beat butter until creamy but not oily. Sift dry ingredients, add to creamed mixture a little at a time. Work in with a spoon as long as possible and then turn out onto floured board and knead until mixture cracks slightly. Roll to 1/3 inch thickness. Cut with cookie cutters or roll into balls.Decorate with sprinkles, if desired.Bake at 325 F for 20 minutes. |
