Black Forest Trifle
 
Ingredients
1 pkg. chocolate pudding (6 serving size,cooked type)
3 cups milk
1 Angel or Sponge cake
19 oz. Cherry pie filling
2 cups whipping cream
2 tsp. icing sugar
1 square semi sweet chocolate
1/4 pkg. slivered toasted almonds (optional)
10-12 maraschino cherries
 
Cook pudding with milk, according to package directions. Break cake into 1 inch pieces. Place 1/2 of cake pieces in 3 quart glass bowl. Add 1/2 of pudding and 1/2 of cherry pie filling in layers. Repeat layers, cake, pudding, cherry pie filling. Whip whipping cream, add sugar to cream while whipping. Spread whipped cream on top. Decorate with shaved chocolate, cherries, and almonds. Keep refrigerated. Enjoy ! =)
